Compensation & Time Off
This chapter covers everything related to your pay, work schedule, and time off policies at RESTO Athletic.
Payroll
Employees will be paid on a weekly basis. Your paycheck will include a detailed breakdown of your earnings, taxes, and other deductions.
Work Hours and Attendance
Employees are expected to be present in the office during regular business hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hour work week), unless alternative arrangements have been approved in advance by their manager.
Regular attendance is a fundamental expectation. If an employee cannot make it to the office due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, they must notify their supervisor as early as possible.
In-office work encourages face-to-face collaboration. Employees are expected to actively engage with colleagues and attend meetings as scheduled.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
RESTO Athletic provides paid time off for vacation, personal days, and illness. All regular full-time employees are eligible for PTO benefits.
PTO Accrual
PTO will accrue based on the following schedule unless otherwise noted in your employment contract:
| Years of Service | PTO Days | Hours Accrued per Week |
|---|---|---|
| First 3 Years | 16 days per year | 2.46 hours |
| 4 or More Years | 21 days per year | 3.23 hours |
PTO Request
Requests for time off should be submitted to your manager via email or text two (2) weeks in advance of the planned time off, as well as through the payroll platform. Additionally, all employees should send a calendar invite to their direct superior denoting their time off.
Unscheduled absences should be communicated as soon as possible to your direct supervisor or manager, preferably at least one (1) hour before the start of your shift.
PTO Carryover
Employees may carry over up to a full year's unused PTO to the following year. Your accrual will stop at the maximum PTO accrual for your tenure until the balance falls below that threshold.
Sick Leave
Sick leave is included in the PTO policy. If an employee is unable to work due to illness, they can use their accrued PTO days.
PTO Balance
Employees can check their PTO balance through the payroll platform or request information from the Payroll team.
Leave Protections
We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment and comply with the Missouri Victims Economic Safety and Security Act (VESSA).
Domestic/Sexual Violence Leave
Employees who are a victim of domestic or sexual violence, or who have a family or household member who is a victim, may be eligible for up to one (1) workweek of unpaid leave during a 12-month period.
Leave can be used for:
- Seeking medical attention for, or recovering from, physical or psychological injuries.
- Obtaining services from a victim services organization or counseling.
- Safety planning, temporarily or permanently relocating, or taking other actions to increase safety.
- Seeking legal assistance or participating in any related legal proceeding.
You must provide at least 48 hours' advance notice of your intention to take leave, unless providing such notice is not practicable. All information regarding your VESSA request will be kept in the strictest confidence.
